• Harshavardhana (606 – 647 CE) • Jinasena (8th century CE) was one of the several famous Digambara Acharyas. • Rajashekhar was an eminent Sanskrit poet, dramatist and critic. He was the court poet of the Gurjara Pratiharas. Rajashekhar wrote the Kavyamimamsa between 880 and 920 CE. The work is essentially a practical guide for poets that explains the elements and composition of a good poem. • The Aihole inscription was written by Ravikirti, the court poet of the Chalukya king, Pulakeshi II, who reigned from 610 to 642 CE.
